Vast complex of buildings housing a party and concert hall, designed by architects Emile Thielens and Emiel Van Averbeke in 1897.

Magnificent eclectic neo-classical and Art Nouveau facade mixed together.

The extraordinary comes from the animal friezes, all in earthenware made by the famous Maison Helman in Brussels. We discover repetitive friezes of exotic birds, roaring tigers, fighting parrots, proud herons. These designs were part of a Helman catalog of ready-to-use projects!

The rest of the immense natural stone facade sometimes presents geometric Art Nouveau elements, sometimes more classic 19th century elements.

Building listed in June 1983.
