Architect Jacques Deweerdt designed this house in 1904, the same year as the Maison Quinten Matsys, but what a difference!
Beautiful facade in white cut stone and highly sculpted blue stone for the basement. A fairly classic façade, a trapezoidal loggia on a stone console. A balcony surmounts the loggia, with a beautiful round window framed by an imposing semicircular arch.
The three floors of the house are all different. The cornice is quite classic as well as the mansard roof.
The distinctive element is this mosaic representing Napoleon, two cannons and daisies, illustrated in a rather naive way.
The house was classified like the whole neighborhood in 1984, and is in very good condition.
