Large house and adjoining workshop (now gone) of the De Taeye carpentry, built in 1898.
Beautiful facade inspired by the Maison Hankar in Brussels (1893) in two bays. Façade decorated with alternated light color bricks with orange.
The base is made of cut natural stones.
The front door is particularly faithful to Art Nouveau precepts, a “spider web” door with applied ironwork, a small mesh side window and an awning supported by two sculpted hard stones.
The tympanum was originally to be decorated with a stained glass window which has now disappeared.
All the openings are semicircular arches of red bricks.
A floral wrought iron railing adorns the second floor balcony, while a small balcony on the third floor is placed on a sculpted console armed with refined ironwork.
The top floor under the overflowing cornice is decorated with floral patterns ceramics.
