Architect De Weerdt designed this house in 1906 for his personal use, much more modest than the multiple houses he created for others at the beginning of the century.

Eclectic in style, with some Art Nouveau elements. Two unequal bays, including the one on the right which is much lower, ending in a dormer window with a small pointed roof.

We discover the Art Nouveau elements on the wooden front door and its carved horseshoe arch frame.

Window surrounds and drip edges are also typical. The earthenware decorated with swallows is, on the other hand, not very Art Nouveau.

A curious mix, but nevertheless an interesting facade.

House listed in December 2003
