Exceptional building, house and artist's studio, designed by architect Paul Hankar in 1897 for the Symbolist painter Albert Ciamberlani.
The architect gives pride of place to monumental sgraffito, designed by Adolphe Crespin.
In 1927, the building was remodeled on the ground floor by Adrien Blomme (addition of a garage).
Heavily damaged by time, the hotel has been completely and remarkably restored in the years 2010.
It is currently (2021) occupied by the Embassy of Argentina.
Building listed in January 1983
