The architect Van Hoecke-Dessel has created a house with geometric Art Nouveau accents. For this one, no soft lines or curves.

Everything is quite rectilinear, the use of metal lintels, the arched window tympanums of the first floor with decorated tiling, the drip edges carved in hard stone, bear witness to the architect's interpretation of the fashionable style.

The relatively severe facade is treated with light bricks, enhanced around the openings with dark bricks. The imposing loggia on the first floor rests on two consoles and is covered with a three-sided tiled roof.

The whole lot is quite harmonious.

To the right of this house, another by the same architect, built in 1900. Note its woodwork, ironwork and decorated tiles.
