Admirable house designed in 1905 by architect Arthur Nelissen, of Dutch origin.

This was his personal home, incorporating all the characteristics of the rather flamboyant Art Nouveau style. An extraordinary and majestic central horseshoe-arched balcony, refined ironwork, glazed bricks, and sculpted hard stone compose this remarkable façade.

The house has been completely and masterfully restored (July 2025). The ironwork has been restored to its original white color, accentuating its refinement, and the woodwork to its natural wood tone.

The sgraffito, which had completely disappeared, has been professionally restored.

It is surrounded by a series of bourgeois houses from the same period, which are well worth a visit.

The building was listed in February 2006.
