High Art Nouveau style house on a very classic base, designed in 1908 by architect Joseph Nusbaum from Liège.

It is above all the decorative elements sculpted in the hard stone, around the door and the windows which give this facade an Art Nouveau look.

The front door, in particular, is entirely in the period.

An imposing pointed arch transom window dominates this off-center door with a small window to its left.

Everything is decorated with very geometric ironwork.

One feel the influence of Brussels architect Paul Hankar.

Pretty ceramic floral motifs adorn the left bay above and below the narrow windows.

The house is in a good state of conservation and has recently been carefully restored.

Two other houses by the architect adjoin No. 51, however they do not really have Art Nouveau elements.
