Impressive twin houses, mirrored, designed by architect Vanhoenhacker in 1904.

This is inspired by the geometric Art Nouveau style, playing with cut stones, gray bricks punctuated with colored bricks. The sculpted hard stone is very present in the basement and in the windows with their drip edges.

The two double-leaf entrance doors are particularly neat and inspired by English Art & Crafts. On the façade on the right, the colored glass glazing adds a touch of refinement.

The decorative panels are paintings on plastered burlap.

The two facades end in a pointed arch gable. Both houses are in a good state of conservation and have been protected since May 2003.

The adjoining house at number 21, by the same architect, has a more classic facade, with Art Nouveau elements, such as this highly sculpted hard stone base, and these window sills with drip edges on the upper floors.

The facade is made of glazed yellow bricks. The woodwork seems original with its colored windows.

House protected since May 2003.
