Corner house, part of a series of houses designed by architect Charles van Driessche in 1901, and named Cité Van Driessche, this one is in Art Nouveau style mixed with classism and neo-Renaissance.
Beautiful facade of yellow bricks, alternating with dark bricks and hard stone for the basement.
The Art Nouveau elements reside in the horseshoe arches of the neo-Moorish influenced openings, very popular during Art Nouveau period.
The two openings above the front door are decorated with stained glass windows which are also very typical.
The door is of the classic type. A real mix of styles.
The house is in very good condition, unlike the unfortunately neglected neighboring houses on the street.
