In 1912, Jacques De Weerdt designed this Art Nouveau house on the same theme as the house “Les Mouettes” built in 1905.
Same facade elevation, with a ground floor with two windows and a double front door. Metal beams highlight each floor.
A hollow bel-étage with stone balcony and elegantly intertwined ironwork.
The second floor window is framed by a large horseshoe arch with sculpted heads, another De Weerdt constant. The design of the wrought iron balcony is treated differently, more geometrically.
A sgraffito was to adorn the part above the arch, but has now disappeared.
The house has recently been restored and is in good condition.
House listed in December 2003.
